All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Cut out a section of excess pavement at Cudahy Park in Cudahy, CA and plant a pocket green. It is paved well beyond what foot traffic and events actually need, radiating heat with zero canopy in a city with almost no other green space to spare.

Offer to pay $950. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

The creator wallet. Its signature is what approves proof and settles the wage.

Safety, read before you claim

Trained crew only: City of Cudahy facilities/right-of-way permit, 811 locates, wet-cut dust controls (respirable silica), and the section fenced off during demolition. City sign-off precedes work, and never saw-cut or excavate before the permit and 811 locates are in hand.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Record the city permit and 811 locate references before preparing the section.
  2. Photograph the paved section before removal.
  3. Record the saw-cut and removal specification, remove the pavement, and record hauled-debris disposal.
  4. Record the engineered-soil fill and grading log.
  5. Record the native or adapted plant species and counts, then plant and mulch the pocket green.
  6. Photograph the planted, mulched section and save GPS.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the paved section targeted for depaving
  • Permit + 811 locate references before any saw-cutting or excavation
  • Saw-cut/removal spec and hauled-debris disposal record
  • Engineered-soil fill and grading log + native/adapted plant list
  • After photo of the planted, mulched section

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Urban Canopy. Urban canopy is the layer of leaves over a city, and it is infrastructure as surely as the pipes below the street: shade that cools a block in a heat wave, roots that drink a storm. The i-Tree protocol turns it into something you can count, tree by tree, so a city knows what it has and what it is losing. Mastery looks like a person who can read a whole street's trees at a walk. This packet is a piece of that census: a few trees observed carefully and recorded where the record counts.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required. Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
