All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Coat this flat commercial or civic roof on the Bartlett Ave corridor in Adelanto, CA with a reflective cool-roof finish. It absorbs heat all day under direct Mojave sun, driving up the building's cooling load and radiating heat back into the neighborhood after sunset, a real un-addressed shortfall on a corridor with almost no tree canopy either.

Offer to pay $260. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

Safety, read before you claim

Trained/credentialed roofing crew only, work at height with fall-protection equipment at all times; never work on a wet or unstable roof deck. Owner/facilities-manager consent precedes work; schedule outside peak midday heat; wear eye protection; read each product's label and Safety Data Sheet before use.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: with the building owner/facilities lead, inspect the flat roof deck for any repairs needed before coating; photograph the existing dark, unreflective roof surface as found.
  2. 2. Clean and prep the roof surface per the coating manufacturer's spec (pressure-wash/sweep, patch any minor deck damage).
  3. 3. Apply the reflective cool-roof coating in the manufacturer's specified coverage rate and coat count, working with fall-protection equipment throughout.
  4. 4. VERIFY: photograph the finished, cured coating from the matching before vantage and record the coating's reflectance rating and coverage area.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the existing dark, unreflective roof surface
  • Roof surface cleaned and prepped per the coating manufacturer's spec
  • Coating applied at the manufacturer's specified coverage rate and coat count
  • After photo of the finished, cured coating with reflectance rating and coverage area recorded

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Open, but not claimable yet. This work requires a trained crew; trained crew cannot be established yet. The requirement is a structured fact about this kind of work, not a line of the packet's text. A credential opens a job only when its holder recorded it and a person checked it against the issuer's own public lookup, and an attestation does not establish one, so this job is not open to self-claim without it. It is not claimable yet for a reader with no checked credential on record; a wallet the board has cleared for this job reads it as open. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
