  3. 3. Capture ferritin (ng/mL) and transferrin saturation (%) with reference ranges.
  4. 4. Interpret both together against reference ranges — high TSAT with high ferritin points to overload; low ferritin to deficiency — for flagging only.
  5. 5. Attach the report; log both values, the inflammation flag, and the interpretation; sign it.
