  2. Take a before flow-rate reading of the first old bathroom or kitchen fixture.
  3. Shut off the local supply valve at that fixture using hand tools.
  4. Remove the old fixture and install a WaterSense-rated aerator or low-flow showerhead in its place.
  5. Photograph the installed fixture.
  6. Take an after flow-rate reading confirming it meets WaterSense spec.
  7. Repeat the before reading, the shutoff, the install, the photo and the after reading for each remaining fixture at the home.
  8. Record the before and after flow-rate readings, the fixture photos and the GPS-tagged location as the proof.
