All of it: the words, the place, the proof
Install a root barrier at a street tree near the 1300 block of Oaklawn Avenue. A mature street tree's roots are starting to lift the adjacent sidewalk panel; a root barrier steers new root growth down and away, protecting both the tree and the walk before the panel needs a full repair.
Fund it for $300. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Call 811 to have utility lines located before digging at the tree well.
- Record the GPS location and photograph the tree well and adjacent sidewalk before starting.
- Using hand tools, dig around the tree well no deeper than the barrier depth spec.
- Install the root barrier at the logged depth and placement against the ISA spec.
- Record the barrier's depth and placement in a log against the ISA spec.
- Backfill the installation and mulch over it.
- Photograph the backfilled, mulched installation after.
- Record the before photo, the barrier depth/placement log, and the after photo as proof.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the tree well and adjacent sidewalk
- Barrier depth + placement log against the ISA spec
- After photo of the backfilled, mulched installation
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Urban Canopy. Urban canopy is the layer of leaves over a city, and it is infrastructure as surely as the pipes below the street: shade that cools a block in a heat wave, roots that drink a storm. The i-Tree protocol turns it into something you can count, tree by tree, so a city knows what it has and what it is losing. Mastery looks like a person who can read a whole street's trees at a walk. This packet is a piece of that census: a few trees observed carefully and recorded where the record counts.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1790771884562_eztx9dm","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
