Take a before photo of the unshaded area.
Install the footings or anchors to the manufacturer's wind spec, torque-check each one, and log the results.
Assemble and raise the shade structure onto the anchored footings.
Take an after photo of the finished, anchored structure and file it with the footing/anchor log.
