All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Swap the corridor storefront lighting to LED at the El Dorado Street corridor buildings. This corridor's ground-floor storefronts still run inefficient fluorescent tubes burning every open retail hour; a straight LED swap cuts that load immediately and improves the light quality along the block.

Fund it for $400. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

Pay
$400 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
before/after photos per fixture + lumen/wattage label photo + fixture count + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Confirm consent with the business owner of the storefronts named in this job's title and schedule the work outside open hours.
  2. Walk the corridor named in this job's title and identify every storefront fixture still running fluorescent tubes.
  3. Photograph each fixture before starting, with the old tube and its wattage visible.
  4. Switch off power to each fixture at the switch or breaker before changing the hardwired lamp.
  5. Set up a properly rated ladder with a spotter for each storefront fixture.
  6. Remove the old tube from each fixture and install the new LED lamp.
  7. Restore power and cycle each fixture on and off to confirm it works.
  8. Photograph each fixture after the swap, with the new LED lamp and its label visible.
  9. Count the fixtures retrofitted and match the count against the corridor's total.
  10. Record that every retrofitted fixture was cycled and confirmed working, then submit the before and after photos and the count as the proof.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of each fixture with the old tube/wattage visible
  • After photo of each fixture with the new LED lamp/label visible
  • Count of fixtures retrofitted matched against the corridor's total
  • Every retrofitted fixture confirmed working (on/off cycle test)

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. Mastery looks like an auditor who can feel where a building is bleeding money within the hour, and prove it on paper. That instinct is trained by repetition on real buildings. This packet is one repetition: one system observed, one reading taken, one finding recorded the way the standard asks.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1790778754425_vcs5f2e","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
