  1. Confirm the exact site with its host and record the contact's name, role, and the date they agreed to the work.
  2. Walk the site and count every fixture due for the swap, noting the wattage or lamp type at each one.
  3. Photograph each fixture as found, with the existing bulb or wattage label visible.
  4. Power off the fixture at its switch or breaker.
  5. Position a properly rated ladder with a spotter steadying it, then remove the old bulb or tube.
  6. Install the new LED lamp matched to the socket and fitting.
  7. Restore power at the switch or breaker and cycle the fixture on and off to confirm it lights.
  8. Photograph the retrofitted fixture with the new LED lamp and its wattage or lumen label visible.
  9. Tally the number of fixtures retrofitted against the site's total and record the GPS location.
