How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Go to the sidewalk block this job's title names and find the joint where one panel sits higher than its neighbor.
- Hold a ruler against the lifted edge and photograph the lip with the ruler reading visible, then write down the lip height.
- Set out cones and put on hi vis, a respirator and eye protection before any grinding starts.
- Set up the wet cut grinder with its water feed running and photograph the equipment so the dust suppression method shows.
- Grind the raised edge of the higher panel along the joint to form a gradual bevel down to the lower panel.
- Re-measure the lip height at the joint, confirm the bevel angle, and make further grinding passes until the transition is within tolerance.
- Photograph the finished bevel from the same spot as the before photo, with the ruler in view, so the reduced lip shows.
- Record the final lip height, the confirmed bevel angle and the GPS location, and attach all photos to the proof.
What counts as done
- Before photo with a ruler showing the lip height
- Wet cut grinding equipment photo (dust suppression method confirmed)
- After photo showing the ground bevel with the lip reduced to a safe ADA compliant transition
- Lip height measurement confirming the transition is within tolerance after grinding
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1790822873129_n68xb5d","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required. Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
