All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Pick up and bag every piece of litter on the block face, from the building line to the curb. Count it first: tally the litter by kind in two marked 100 foot stretches, so the payer can see the before and after. On Wilshire Boulevard between Glendon Avenue and Veteran Avenue, and Westwood Boulevard at the station head, Los Angeles, clear the walk, the surface trash in tree wells, the bus stop and the walk side of the gutter with a grabber or tongs, never bare hands. Bag it, sort the recyclables, set large items out for the City's bulk item pickup away from any storm inlet, and weigh or count the bags. Stop at needles, human waste and anything that could be a person's property, such as a tent, bedding, bags, a cart or papers: do not touch or move them, never ask a person to move, photograph from where you stand and file them on MyLA311, the City of Los Angeles service request line, and Metro's 24-hour project hotline. No license is needed, only the crew's safety orientation and a crew lead who checks the gear. For the payer: - Price: $600 per block face of about 300 feet, the walk and the gutter edge. Basis: two workers for about six hours at about $45 an hour each plus bags, disposal and supplies, about $100 a crew hour; proposed, to verify against the payer's unit price. - Likely payer: LA Sanitation and Environment Clean Corridors Program ($4.336806M in the 2026-27 proposed budget), and Clean California (CCEP) grantees and their workforce partners. In their words: litter and graffiti removal on public right-of-way. - No license is needed. - No permit is needed; public walk under the posting, or the owner's written permission.

Fund it for $600. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
before, after photos from fixed points + litter tally in two 100 foot stretches + bags weighed or counted by stream + sharps, waste, belongings spots filed with reference numbers + request or work order number cited

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • grabber and tongs
  • cut resistant gloves, closed boots and hi-vis vests
  • cones
  • contractor bags and a scale or a bag counter
  • broom, dustpan and a hand truck
  • chalk, tape measure, camera and GPS phone

Steps

  1. Photograph the block face wide from both ends and mark two stretches of 100 feet for the count.
  2. Tally the litter by kind in each stretch (bottles and cans, paper and food waste, cigarette butts, bulk items) and record both tallies.
  3. Put on hi-vis, cut resistant gloves and closed boots, and set cones on the walk side of curb cuts. Do not start if a cone or a person would stand in a parking, bike or travel lane unless a trained flagger (Title 8 section 1599) or the City's approved traffic control plan is in place.
  4. Clear the walk, the tree well surface trash, the bus stop and the walk side of the gutter with a grabber and a broom, bagging as you go.
  5. Stop at any needle, syringe, human waste or unknown container or liquid: do not touch it, photograph it from a distance, mark the spot and report it on MyLA311.
  6. Stop at anything that could be a person's property, such as a tent, bedding, bags, a cart or papers: do not touch or move it, never ask a person to move, and report it on MyLA311.
  7. Sort the bags into trash and recycling, and set bulk items at the curb for the City's bulk item pickup, away from any storm inlet.
  8. Tally the litter again in the same two stretches and photograph the block face from the first two points.
  9. Weigh or count the bags and record where each stream went.

What counts as done

  • Before and after photos of the whole block face from the same two vantage points, each with GPS and time
  • The litter tally by kind in two marked 100 foot stretches, before and after
  • The bags weighed or counted, with where each stream went
  • Every needle, human waste spot or belongings spot photographed from a distance and filed on MyLA311, with the reference number
  • The MyLA311 service request number or the City work order this block answers, copied from the request, or none when there is none

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1792510439412_9zdguk3","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
