1 · A place near the store becomes a restore packet

A community team (or their agent, via x402, work-packet $0.10) drafts the packet: native-tree planting + bioswale clean-out, Store #2601 detention basin. The machine gate validates scope, safety controls, and a real tCO2e method before the packet can exist: a version with no safety controls or an unbacked carbon claim is rejected automatically.

The packet routes to an associate starting the Restore ladder, step 1 anyone can do today, up to mastery, or to a local resident. Claim is signed by their wallet (browser wallet or passkey; no new accounts, no app to install). Funding is escrow-free and visible: pay follows the proof, never a promise.

The crew closes with geotagged before/after photos + planting list + signature + timestamp. A deterministic proof-checker (agent-payable, $0.01) returns the verdict: no proof, no settlement, no carbon claim.

4 · Settlement writes the receipt the pledge is missing

Approval settles on Base: a public, permanent receipt (this store, this restoration, this crew, verified this morning) with its tCO2e retired via the ecological rail. It appends to Store #2601's verified regeneration record: the per-place proof under the 50-million-acre pledge, and a legible asset an agent, a regulator, or a customer can read.
