What the work involves

The downspout at 1200 block of E Auburn Street, Kensington, Philadelphia, PA 19125 dumps roof runoff straight against the foundation and the shared party wall, feeding the basement dampness and masonry decay every rowhouse on the block eventually gets. A ground-level extension fixes it without anyone touching a ladder.

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
before/after photos + flow-test video + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • gloves + trash bag (debris)
  • downspout extension or splash block
  • garden hose (flow test)
  • camera

Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: photograph the downspout outlet and the ground/foundation area it drains to; check whether water is pooling against the foundation or a neighbor's party wall.
  2. 2. Clear any reachable debris from the downspout outlet and the ground-level elbow by hand, from ground level only, no ladder, no roof access.
  3. 3. Fit and secure a downspout extension or splash block so discharge routes at least several feet from the foundation, away from the party wall and any basement entry.
  4. 4. Flow-test with a garden hose at the gutter's ground-level outlet and photograph the water routing away from the foundation.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the downspout outlet and where it drains
  • After photo of the fitted extension/splash block
  • Flow-test video/photo showing water routed away from the foundation

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1784360690186_i2cf199","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
