  2. Record every area of peeling, flaking, or chalking exterior paint by structure location.
  3. Note bare soil lines against painted walls and visible chip debris.
  4. Never touch, scrape, sand, or collect paint or soil.
  5. Photograph each finding with GPS and date on and compile the record for the certified follow-on crew.
