Steps

1. Bring a certified home test kit covering nitrate, bacteria indicator, lead, and hardness.
2. Run the cold tap for two minutes and collect samples per kit instructions.
3. Develop and read each result against the chart in good light.
4. Record results with date and explain each number plainly, noting any result that warrants a certified lab follow-up.
5. Photograph the developed kit at the tap and record readings with GPS and date.
