Steps

  1. Confirm the host's invitation and count the ground-reachable vents on the home and skirting.
  2. Cut 1/8-inch galvanized metal mesh to overlap each vent opening.
  3. Fasten the mesh over each vent with exterior screws and washers without blocking airflow.
  4. Check every screen edge for gaps and seal the perimeter where the wall is uneven.
  5. Photograph each vent before and after screening, GPS-tagged and dated.
