  2. Photograph any dry leaves, mulch, woodpiles, or plants touching the structure.
  3. Photograph all vents, eaves, and under-deck spaces for gaps or debris.
  4. Note which items are within safe, ground-level reach to clear by hand.
  5. Rank the findings from most to least urgent.
  6. Hand the ranked, photographed list to the resident and the next crew.
