A photo survey of the first five feet around the home tells the next crew exactly what still needs clearing.

  2. Photograph any dry needles, mulch, woodpiles, or plants touching the structure.
  3. Photograph all vents, eaves, and under-deck spaces for gaps or debris.

  5. Rank the findings from most to least urgent.
  6. Hand the ranked, photographed list to the resident and the next crew.
