  1. Get the resident's invitation and close all exterior doors and windows.
  2. Set up the blower door fan in the main entry doorway per equipment instructions.
  3. Run the fan to depressurize the home to the standard test pressure.
  4. Walk the interior with a smoke pencil or hand to locate active leak points.
  5. Log each leak point by location and relative severity.
  6. Photograph the test setup and the logged leak list.
