Steps

1. Confirm the unit is a ground-set or reachable window cooler and unplug it before opening.
2. Remove the panels, pull the spent pads, and scrub mineral scale from panel frames and the basin.
3. Cut and fit new pads, reassemble, and refill the basin.
4. Restore power, run the pump, and confirm even pad wetting and strong cool airflow.
5. Photograph the old pads, the cleaned basin, and the running unit, and record the swap with GPS and date.
