Hand-clear the flagged defensible-space fixes at invited Clearlake properties (2026-07-19)

The photo surveys of Clearlake properties produce fix lists that many residents — elderly, disabled, or working two jobs — cannot physically complete before the dry season. Hand-clearing the flagged items in the 0-30 ft zones with rakes, loppers, and hauling is the work that actually changes whether a home survives an ember storm. Every cleared property also protects its neighbors. Standard: CAL FIRE defensible-space standards (PRC 4291) hand-work scope; SDG 11 Sustainable Cities, SDG 13 Climate Action. Proof: Before/after photos matched to survey fix list with GPS/date Method (CAL FIRE defensible-space standards (PRC 4291) hand-work scope; SDG 11 Sustainable Cities, SDG 13 Climate Action.): 1. Work from the property's survey fix list with the occupant present. 2. Clear all dead vegetation and debris from the 0-5 ft zone at structures. 3. Rake and haul leaf litter, cut low ladder-fuel branches within lopper reach, and relocate wood piles per the list. 4. Bag or stage green waste for the arranged legal disposal. 5. Photograph each completed fix against its survey photo and record with GPS and date. Done when: Before/after photos matched to survey fix list with GPS/date

Pay
$380 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 45–90 minutes. Method of record: NFPA 1144 / Firewise USA structure-ignition-zone defensible-space assessment — documentation-only from a safe public/yard vantage

Bring

Steps

  1. 1. Document only — photograph Zone 0 (0-5 ft from the structure), Zone 1 (5-30 ft) and Zone 2 (30-100 ft) from the driveway or yard edge; never enter dense brush or approach a structurally questionable outbuilding.
  2. 2. Note vegetation type, spacing and ladder-fuel presence (brush touching tree canopy) in each zone from the safe vantage.
  3. 3. Photograph the roof material, gutters, vents, and any firewood or combustible material stacked against the structure.
  4. 4. Compile the zone-by-zone findings into a defensible-space checklist naming what a licensed/credentialed vegetation-management crew should clear first; never clear, cut, or move anything during this survey.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
