Join the spring limpia — clean an Española acequia before the water runs (2026-07-19)

Española's acequias have moved Rio Grande and Santa Cruz water to family fields for three centuries, and every spring they must be cleaned of silt, leaves, and trash before the mayordomo opens the headgate. Many parciantes are now elderly and the traditional communal limpia is short of hands — without the cleaning, the ditch and the growing season both fail. Standard: New Mexico Acequia Association limpia tradition; SDG 6 and SDG 2. Proof: Before/after ditch photos + section log Method (New Mexico Acequia Association limpia tradition; SDG 6 and SDG 2.): 1. Coordinate with the acequia's mayordomo or commission on the assigned ditch section. 2. Rake and shovel leaves, silt bars, and trash from the dry ditch bed onto the bank spoil line. 3. Cut back brush crowding the channel with hand tools. 4. Clear culvert mouths and check flow line is continuous through the section. 5. Photograph the cleaned section before and after with date and GPS. Done when: Before/after ditch photos + section log

Pay
$180 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
