How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

1. Confirm the permitted planting list and locations with the city's street tree program and call 811.
2. Dig each planting hole twice the root ball width and no deeper than the root flare.
3. Set each tree straight, backfill with native soil, and water deeply.
4. Mulch a ring clear of the trunk and install a watering bag where provided.
5. Photograph each planted tree with its strip, GPS-tagged and dated.
