Steps

  1. Confirm the host's invitation and mark the vent locations per the rated-vent sizing chart for the enclosed area.
  2. Cut the openings in the crawlspace wall at the marked locations from outside, at ground-reach height.
  3. Set and fasten each engineered vent per the manufacturer's instructions and seal the perimeter.
  4. Verify the flood coverage math against the vents' rated area and record it.
  5. Photograph each installed vent and the sizing record, GPS-tagged and dated.
