Steps

1. Collect mulch from the marked pickup pile and confirm the tree list.
2. Weed each tree basin and lightly loosen the soil surface, keeping soil damp to avoid dust.
3. Spread mulch 3 inches deep in a wide ring, kept clear of the trunk itself.
4. Water each refreshed ring to settle it.
5. Photograph each tree's ring before and after, with GPS and date.
