Hand-clear the flat defensible-space zones the Fallbrook surveys flagged (2026-07-19)

The ignition-zone surveys leave each Fallbrook home a list of small-fuel work on flat ground: dry grass to cut, dead fronds to drag, mulch to pull back from siding. Hand tools on walkable lots handle most of it — the highest-value fire work an untrained person can safely do. Standard: CAL FIRE Defensible Space (PRC 4291) zone standards — SDG 15. Proof: Before/after zone photos per home Method (CAL FIRE Defensible Space (PRC 4291) zone standards — SDG 15.): 1. Work from the survey list with the occupant's invitation confirmed, on flat walkable ground only. 2. Cut dry grass and weeds with hand tools and string trimmers within the first 30 feet. 3. Drag dead branches and fronds to the green-waste pile and pull flammable mulch a foot back from siding. 4. Photograph each zone before and after with GPS and date. Done when: Before/after zone photos per home

Pay
$380 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash. You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it. Typically 45–90 minutes. Method of record: NFPA 1144 / Firewise USA structure-ignition-zone defensible-space assessment — documentation-only from a safe public/yard vantage

Bring

Steps

  1. 1. Document only — photograph Zone 0 (0-5 ft from the structure), Zone 1 (5-30 ft) and Zone 2 (30-100 ft) from the driveway or yard edge; never enter dense brush or approach a structurally questionable outbuilding.
  2. 2. Note vegetation type, spacing and ladder-fuel presence (brush touching tree canopy) in each zone from the safe vantage.
  3. 3. Photograph the roof material, gutters, vents, and any firewood or combustible material stacked against the structure.
  4. 4. Compile the zone-by-zone findings into a defensible-space checklist naming what a licensed/credentialed vegetation-management crew should clear first; never clear, cut, or move anything during this survey.

What counts as done

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

Claim it on the board

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours, and signing costs nothing: no card, no deposit, no fee. An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
