2. Photograph the patch before starting.
3. Working from firm ground, dig out cordgrass clumps by the roots with hand tools and bag all fragments.
4. Carry bagged material to the host's disposal point so no fragments re-root.
5. Photograph the cleared patch and log the bag count and area worked.
