What the work involvesFortuna homes sit under big conifers that fill gutters with needles every fall, and the Eel River valley's winter storms then pour roof water down the walls of houses whose owners can no longer safely climb to clear them. One visit with a stepladder clears, flushes, and re-secures the runs an older homeowner can't reach.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Confirm the invitation and photograph clogged or sagging gutter runs.
- From ground or a stepladder no higher than 6 feet, scoop needles and debris from reachable runs.
- Re-seat loose hangers and re-secure sagging sections you can reach.
- Flush each downspout until it runs clear and aim outlets away from the foundation.
- Photograph cleared runs and flowing outlets with date.
What counts as done
- Before photos of clogged or sagging runs with GPS and date
- After photos of cleared, secured runs
- Photo of water flowing from each downspout
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Weatherization Readiness. Weatherization readiness is the survey that turns a cold, expensive-to-heat home into a fundable plan. Following the Department of Energy's program, the surveyor maps where the house leaks air, which attics and walls lack insulation, what fresh-air path must follow the tightening, and which safety checks must clear first. Mastery looks like a walkthrough that ends with a package a weatherization crew can price without a second visit. This packet is one piece of one such survey, done carefully and written down, so a real family's real house gets closer to warm.
What is promised, and what is not.
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1784513336355_hf4utiu","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
