What the work involves

The fall inlet survey on Woodland's east side flagged several drains already partly blocked with leaf litter, and a blocked inlet here backs water into the street fast when Central Valley storms push the nearby Yolo Bypass toward capacity. Clearing the grates by hand now keeps that water moving.

$180 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Bring the ranked inlet list from the fall survey to the site.
  2. Clear leaf litter and trash off the grate opening by hand with gloves.
  3. Never lift the grate or reach down into the drain box, clear the surface opening only.
  4. Bag the cleared debris for normal trash pickup.
  5. Photograph each cleared inlet next to its before photo.
  6. Mark the inlet as cleared on the survey list.

What counts as done

  • Before photo from survey
  • After photo of cleared grate
  • Updated survey list

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Green Stormwater Infrastructure. Green stormwater infrastructure is the city's way of handling rain the way a meadow does: rain gardens, planted swales, and permeable pavement that let a storm soak in instead of surging down a pipe. The EPA's inspection standard keeps these systems honest, because a neglected rain garden quietly stops working while still looking like a garden. Mastery is the inspector's eye: reading inlets, overflow, plants, and soil in a single practiced pass. This packet is one such inspection, one basin checked and one record filed, which is precisely how a thousand basins stay alive.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1784517360960_ji29vc4","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
