  2. Cut back dry brush and low branches within the first 5 feet of the home using hand tools.
  3. Remove cut vegetation from the site rather than leaving it piled against the structure.

  5. Rake exposed ground clear of dry leaf litter.
  6. Photograph the cleared zone next to a before photo.
