What the work involves

Once a household already runs a rain barrel, the real fix for Iztapalapa's weekly water-truck cycle is more storage, a larger sealed cistern that banks rainy-season capture for the weeks between deliveries. Many families currently store water in uncovered tanks that lose volume and collect debris. A proper cistern with a tap and overflow line multiplies how long stored water lasts and keeps it cleaner.

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Confirm the host invites the work and walk the roof runoff and existing storage setup together.
  2. Set the cistern tank on a stable, leveled base at ground level, never elevated on unsupported blocks.
  3. Connect the roof runoff line and any existing rain barrel as a first-flush feed into the cistern inlet.
  4. Install a tap near the base and a screened overflow so excess water drains away from the foundation.
  5. Photograph the completed cistern, tap, and overflow with the host present and record the capture-ready date.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the cistern set on its stable base
  • Photo of the connected roof-runoff inlet and screened overflow
  • Photo of the host confirming the finished install

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Water Efficiency. Water efficiency is the quiet discipline of wasting nothing indoors. The EPA's WaterSense program sets the marks: how many gallons a minute a faucet should pass, how to find the leak that runs a toilet all night, how a household's water bill tells a story. Mastery looks like an auditor who can walk a home in an hour and find every hidden gallon. The skill is built one fixture at a time, which is exactly what this packet asks: measure one flow, find one leak, record one truth about where the water goes.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1784522948395_w5z9eyh","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
