How this work is done

Bring

• camera and a GPS phone
• pallets, straps, corner protectors and a covered vehicle sized to the load
• gloves and a second person for every pallet
• the owner's written release naming counts and legible serial numbers
• the recycler's certification record and written acceptance terms

Steps

1. 1. Obtain the owner's written release for modules ALREADY removed by the owner's own licensed crew, naming the count, manufacturer, model and every legible serial number.
2. 2. Confirm the receiving recycler's certification: SERI R2v3, e-Stewards, a SEIA National PV Recycling Program partner, a manufacturer take-back such as First Solar's, or a state program such as Washington's. Record the certification identifier and its expiry.
3. 3. Photograph every pallet and the module faces as loaded with the count visible, and record the pickup date, the origin address and the vehicle.
4. 4. Deliver the load to the named recycler, hand over the release, and obtain a signed or emailed receipt naming the weight or the count received.
5. 5. Publish the release, the certification record, the load photographs, the recycler's receipt and any material recovery figure the recycler publishes, as one record, and anchor its content hash.
