Steps

1. With the host, inspect each window unit for daylight gaps around the chassis and accordion panels.
2. Fit foam seal panels into the accordion sides and weatherstrip along the sash meeting rail.
3. Fill remaining gaps with removable rope caulk, keeping the unit's drain path clear.
4. Check the unit sits with a slight outward tilt and its filter is clean; rinse the filter if the host agrees.
5. Photograph each sealed unit inside and out with GPS and date.
