How this work is done

Steps

1. Confirm placement with the host and choose a shaded, visible spot reachable from the sidewalk.
2. Build the box from exterior plywood with a sloped, overhanging lid and a gasketed door, painted for sun and rain.
3. Set a 4x4 post in concrete at proper height and mount the box level, or wall-mount with the host's consent.
4. Stock the first fill of shelf-stable goods and post the simple give-and-take rules inside the door.
5. Photograph the finished stocked box with GPS and date.
