1. 1. Confirm the segment and thinning plan with the property owner, or confirm the right of way segment is public land, and photograph the brush encroached segment before starting.
2. 2. Using appropriate brush cutting power equipment operated only by a trained, credentialed crew, selectively thin mesquite and huisache to the plan density, leaving mature live oak and post oak mottes intact.
3. 3. Hand rake and remove cut brush debris from the thinned area to a designated pile.
