2. 2. Working only on stable, dry ground on the margin above the waterline, never descending toward the water, hand dig planting holes with hand tools only.
3. 3. Hand plant native bottomland hardwood seedlings (species such as water oak, overcup oak, or bald cypress) at the design spacing to close the gap in the corridor.
4. 4. Hand mulch around the new plantings and photograph the planted stretch from the matching before vantage, recording species and plant count.
