1. 1. Confirm the island and restoration plan with park staff, and photograph the encroached island before starting, from the same vantage used in the survey.
2. 2. Working only on the flat dome-base ground of the grassland island, hand-pull encroaching woody brush and non-native grass, hand tools only.
3. 3. Bag and remove the pulled material rather than leaving it to resprout on the shallow soil.
4. 4. Photograph the cleared island from the matching before vantage and record the species and area cleared.
