What the work involves

Liberty City rides the bus more than most of Miami and waits for it in full sun, many stops are a bare pole on hot concrete. Native shade trees planted at approved stop locations are permanent, unpowered cooling infrastructure for the exact spots where people must stand. The canopy survey's empty-site list points to the stops that need them first.

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Confirm approved planting sites at stops with the program or county contact and call 811 before digging.
  2. Dig each hole twice the root-ball width, no deeper than the flare, hand tools only.
  3. Set, backfill, water in, and mulch each native shade tree (live oak, gumbo limbo, or similar).
  4. Stake against wind where needed and log species per site.
  5. Photograph each planted tree beside its stop with GPS and date.

What counts as done

  • Photo of each planted, mulched tree at the stop, GPS and date
  • Species log per site
  • 811 locate confirmation photo

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Urban Canopy. Urban canopy is the layer of leaves over a city, and it is infrastructure as surely as the pipes below the street: shade that cools a block in a heat wave, roots that drink a storm. The i-Tree protocol turns it into something you can count, tree by tree, so a city knows what it has and what it is losing. Mastery looks like a person who can read a whole street's trees at a walk. This packet is a piece of that census: a few trees observed carefully and recorded where the record counts.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788400093613_1sjm7s3","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
