What the work involvesDel Rey's older rentals leak conditioned air through gapped doors and loose window frames, so swamp coolers and space heaters run harder than they should on tight budgets. An afternoon of weatherstrip and door sweeps cuts bills in both seasons.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Walk the home's doors and windows with the resident and mark every gap that shows daylight or moves air.
- Clean the frames and apply self-stick foam or V-seal weatherstrip to each marked gap.
- Add a door sweep to exterior doors gapped at the threshold.
- Close each sealed door and window to confirm a snug fit without sticking.
- Photograph each opening before and after, with GPS and date.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the site or opening with GPS and date stamp
- After photo of the finished work from the same angle
- Close-up photo of the key detail (seal, pad, cartridge, planting, or tag)
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
DIY Weatherization and Air Sealing. Air sealing is the cheapest energy work there is, and the Department of Energy has spent decades proving it: a tube of caulk and a roll of weatherstrip, placed where the cold actually comes in, beat almost any gadget you can buy. This standard keeps the work occupant-safe: no wiring, no combustion equipment, no disturbing old paint. Mastery looks like hands that can find a draft with a bare palm and close it for good. This packet is one home's worth of that: find the gaps, seal them, photograph the proof.
What is promised, and what is not.
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788400270107_u35ugfs","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
