  1. Confirm the host-invited planting line and call 811 before digging.
  2. Water the line the evening before so soil is damp, never dusty, then dig planting holes for the native shrub list.
  3. Plant on the spacing plan, water in deeply, and mulch each plant off-stem.
  4. Set a simple drip line with a timer to the host's tap.
  5. Photograph the planted line wide and close, with GPS and date.
