Steps

1. Confirm approved spots and species with the city or host program and get utilities marked.
2. Dig each hole twice root-ball width and root-ball deep at marked spots only.
3. Set trees straight, backfill, form basins, and stake loosely.
4. Water each tree in with fifteen gallons and mulch clear of trunks.
5. Photograph each planted tree from two angles with date and GPS.
