  1. Confirm placement, ground conditions, and underground-utility clearance with the site host before setting posts.
  2. Set three or four anchor posts in concrete at hand-dug post holes, checked plumb and cured per bag instructions.
  3. Mount the UV-rated sail with turnbuckles at a height under 10 ft, tensioned drum-tight.
  4. Check clearances, tension, and hardware torque after 48 hours.
  5. Photograph the finished sail with a midday shade reading beneath it.
