Steps

  1. Meet the resident and mark a planting line inside their fence facing the truck route.
  2. Dig planting holes for 8 to 12 drought-tolerant evergreen shrubs such as toyon or oleander alternatives approved by the host.
  3. Plant, stake as needed, and water each shrub in deeply.
  4. Lay drip line or set a hand-watering schedule with the host and mulch the row.
  5. Photograph the finished row with GPS and date and record the species and count.
