What the work involves

In Coachella the difference between a usable outdoor space and a dangerous one is shade, and the city's older blocks have far too little of it. A properly anchored UV sail over a hosted courtyard, waiting area, or play corner converts dead heat into livable space for a few hundred dollars. Shade here is health infrastructure.
