What the work involves

Indio's older apartment stock takes the full desert sun on single-pane west glass, and the swamp coolers and window AC units inside lose the fight by mid-afternoon. Renters can't change the windows, but heat-control film applied to the glass is allowed, cheap, and immediate. Every filmed pane is degrees off the hottest room in the house.
