  2. Replace or install the bathroom or kitchen exhaust fan on the existing switched circuit and duct path.
  3. Verify airflow with a tissue test and confirm the duct discharges outdoors, not into the attic.
  4. Photograph the installed fan running and the outdoor discharge point with GPS and date.
