What the work involvesLahore's tree canopy has thinned even as smog-season pollution has worsened, and roadside trees are one of the few interventions residents can act on directly. Planting a shade tree at a marked public roadside spot begins rebuilding that canopy in Shahdara.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Confirm the planting spot with any local host or municipal contact.
- Dig a single planting hole by hand at the marked public roadside spot.
- Plant the young tree and backfill firmly around the root ball.
- Stake the young tree and water it thoroughly.
- Photograph the planted, staked tree with GPS and date as proof.
What counts as done
- planted-tree photo
- GPS + date
- stake close-up
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Urban Canopy. Urban canopy is the layer of leaves over a city, and it is infrastructure as surely as the pipes below the street: shade that cools a block in a heat wave, roots that drink a storm. The i-Tree protocol turns it into something you can count, tree by tree, so a city knows what it has and what it is losing. Mastery looks like a person who can read a whole street's trees at a walk. This packet is a piece of that census: a few trees observed carefully and recorded where the record counts.
What is promised, and what is not.
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788407449501_47mc9ue","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
