What the work involves

Following the heat-loss survey, a felt-layer and seam-sealing kit is the single highest-impact fix available. Ger insulation programs elsewhere in the district have shown added felt layers and sealed seams can keep a ger noticeably warmer through the coldest months, meaning less coal burned per degree kept.
