Steps

  1. Walk the exterior doors and note every gap, torn strip, or door that will not latch snug.
  2. Measure each door frame and cut new weatherstrip and door-sweep material to fit.
  3. Peel, press, and nail or screw the new weatherstrip and sweep into place, working one door at a time.
  4. Close each door and check for daylight or draft around the full frame with a hand held up to the edge.
  5. Photograph each finished door and log which doors were sealed.
