1. 1. Confirm the site and work plan with Brazos Bend State Park staff before starting; this is public parkland in occupied American alligator habitat.
2. 2. Photograph the existing trash receptacle or fish-cleaning station before starting, from the same vantage used in the survey.
3. 3. Install or retrofit a lockable lid, latch, or securing strap on the receptacle, and post a food-storage or fish-cleaning-disposal reminder sign, work confined to the developed parking/picnic area, away from any lake margin.
4. 4. Photograph the secured receptacle and new signage from the matching before vantage, recording the hardware installed.
