1. 1. Confirm the site and work plan with Sea Rim State Park staff before starting; this is public Texas Parks and Wildlife Department parkland on a chenier ridge with adjoining marsh and beach.
2. 2. Photograph the invasive understory before starting, from the same vantage used in the survey.
3. 3. Using hand tools, pull or cut invasive understory species immediately beside the trail tread on dry ridge ground, never stepping off the ridge into the surrounding marsh.
4. 4. Hand plant native understory species (yaupon, American beautyberry, or similar ridge-appropriate stock) in the cleared area and photograph the finished planting from the matching before vantage.
